Install PathWave Desktop Edition on Linux
This section describes how to install PathWave Desktop Edition on Linux.
Prerequisites
Before installing:
- Check the System Requirements.
- Ensure that you have super user or sudo access on the system.

Verify libXss (LibXScrnSaver) library is installed on the system. Use the following command:
sudo yum install libXScrnSaver
To Install PathWave Desktop Edition on Linux
- Download the installation file:
For example:PathWave-2020-1.0.0-Linux-x64.run
from the Keysight website. - Open a Terminal window, and change directories to the download location.

Run the following command:
sudo ./PathWave-2020-1.0.0-Linux-x64.runThe setup wizard screen appears.
- On the setup wizard screen, click Forward.
- On the License Agreement screen, accept the agreement and click Forward.

On the installation directory screen, choose a destination folder and click Forward.
You must have write permissions in the specified path.
- Click Forward.
- Click Finish.
On successful completion, PathWave Desktop Edition is installed.
