These are the generic controls that you can use across all the measurements in IoT Soft Front Panel.

Configuration Menu Show or hide the Configuration panel. This panel contains the IoT Wireless Tester and Input/Output Fixture settings which are described in respective Test Setup Configuration sections. |

Radio selection drop-down list With the connected X8721A, the software will list the supported radios such as Bluetooth® Low Energy and Wireless LAN in a drop-down list. Select the desired radio option here. |

Rescan DUTs button Click this button to allow the radio to scan for devices and update the list of DUT(s). Otherwise, manually add the MAC address of the DUT in the Device selection drop-down list and click +. When X8721A has successfully detected the device, it will appear in the list. |

File Display the file name of the loaded settings file (.json). You may enter %appdata%\keysight\pathwave\SavedSettings in File Explorer to retrieve the settings file. Click Preset to turn off the radio and reset the X8721A instrument. For actions related to the settings file, click File ( |

Instrument selection Click Select Instrument to display a list of X8721A instruments that you have currently or previously connected to your PC. The Demo Mode option will only appear if you have installed the X8721A Simulator (see IoT Software Install Wizard) in your PC. The Keysight X8721 Simulator is software that generates random data to simulate the functions of an X8721A.
