IoT Software Install Wizard

The IoT Software install wizard is a centralized application that contains necessary installers and software packages for the Keysight IOT8700 wireless test solution. Download the latest install wizard to access the new releases of the software packages.

  1. Go to www.keysight.com/find/IOT8700SW to download and install the IoT Software install wizard.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions and click Finish to complete installation. 
  3. If not already launched, double-click the shortcut created on your desktop to launch the install wizard.

  4. Select the corresponding check boxes in the 'Action' column to install the applications and software prerequisites as shown below.

    1. The IoT Soft Front Panel application is a free compulsory software that will be selected by default when it is not installed in your PC. You may use it with or without the XA8722A_SFP license.
    2. The XA8723A_MS is a measurement suite plug-in that runs on Keysight PathWave Test Automation. This is one of the software packages offered in the IOT8700 series wireless test solution.

    3. If you have purchased the USB portable license to use IoT Soft Front Panel, select to download and install the Flexera FlexNet Publisher FLEX-ID USB driver.

    4. (Optional) The Keysight X8721 Simulator is a software that simulates the functions of X8721A without an actual hardware. You may connect to the simulator as an instrument and use the Demo mode in IoT Soft Front Panel and IoT Signaling Measurement Suite. However, the measurement data will be generated randomly.

  5. A successful installation will show 'Pass' status. You can then select the License and License Type of your redeemed license to show the license tool(s). Click the icon(s) to launch the license tool(s) and proceed with the steps as described in the email to install your license(s).

  6. When you are done, click Finish to close the Install wizard or Home to return to the main page of the Install Wizard.

To Uninstall IoT Soft Front Panel

  1. Click the Windows button and search for Control Panel.
  2. Under the Programs category, click 'Uninstall a program' and search for 'Keysight IWTS SFP'.
  3. Click Uninstall to remove the application.
