Title Bar
The title bar contains icons and menu options to access the most commonly used PathWave Desktop Edition functions.
Some of the icons are available only when you are on the home view.

| 1 | Show/hide the project tree pane. When the project tree pane is closed, the icon color changes to white. |
| 2 | File menu. Click to view and manage project files and directories. |
| 3 | Software menu. Click to view and manage software, licenses, and running tasks. |
| 4 | Instruments menu. Click to view and manage connected instruments. |
| 5 | Quick Save lets you save an edited file. The button is enabled when a file is edited in the active service. |
| 6 | The Layout menu let you manage the layout of the open tabs. The group option returns all open tabs to a single tab group. |
| 7 | Help and support. For more information on using help, see Help Window. |
| 8 | Notifications. Click to view the event notifications generated by the system. When there are no notifications, the icon color changes to white. |
| 9 | User options. Click to Set User Preferences. |
